I'd hate to mow that lawn...

An architect firm in Denmark, Bjarke Ingels Group, has designed a proposal for a housing complex in Copenhagen. A scale model will be displayed in NY at the Storefront for Art and Architecture. No big deal, except this model was made with LEGO's. 250,000 to be exact.

It's an interesting combination of publicly accessible lowlands smoothly transitioning into private towers. The interiors are also designed on a LEGO theme, with parts of the room changing function, collapsing, and transforming.

A time lapse movie of the 5 week build is also available.
