Who needs Macworld anyway?

In December Apple decided to stop the big keynote presentations in favor of internet based announcements. No more "booms", "one more things", or black turtlenecks. What would Apple do with it's new product rollouts? Would it's website, store, and blogs suffice?

Last week Apple refreshed almost it's entire line, including the often forgotten MacMini. Nothing notable, but the number of changes and improvements was huge, and the web was chock full of reviews, unboxings, analyses, and hype.

Today they announce a new 4GB version of the Shuffle, that's so differente it's practically a new device. Super small, headphone-based controls, and voice interaction.

Cool stuff.
