Stay away from the SyncServices Folder!
If I didn't know any better, I'd say Apple doesn't want me messing with the SyncServices folder.
I could be wrong, though... maybe they should include another metaphor.

Neues Licht has a new lamp, practically made of fiber optics. Aside from looking cool in a very space-age way, it has some interesting applications. Properly routed, it could allow natural sunlight to flow into a windowless room. And the fact that it's waterproof means that even if your house is flooded to the ceiling, you lamp will still work! It also reminds me of another fiber-optic based device.

As I'm sure you've aready heard, Apple gave a preview of their new iPhone, to be released in June. It's getting awfully close to the fabled "convergence" device technophiles have been wanting for years. Don't let the cool features and fancy hardware fool you - the real star of the show is the interface.
If it can overcome the high starting price ($499-$599) and single network (Cingular), it could be really big. In the meantime, I'm quite happy with my Treo 650 and Verizon. With an iTunes skin for the media player, it's a suprisingly good Phone, Mp3 player, Video player, Camera, Internet portal, video game combination. |
