Killer Bunnies: The Quest for the Magic Carrot

This past weekend I played a card game called "Killer Bunnies" for the first time. It's reminiscent of Magic, but cuter and more violent. The graphics on the cards are really nice, and creative bunnies and attacks keep it interesting, though the rules are rather complex.

Beginners luck led me to have two strong, well protected bunnies early on. Unfortunately, things turned around when they were 'diseased' but another players attack, requiring them to die for me to advance in the game. Of course, they were too strong to kill (and I tried). The other players remarked how they'd never seen someone actually try to kill their own bunnies, and then not be able to.

Half an old building is better than new

London is demolishing a rather unique 15 story building. One of 15 that was built by hanging floors off of a beam on top of a strong concrete central shaft, they naturally are destroying it from the bottom up.

I think the building looks fantastic as it is now, exposed beams and all. Assuming it's structurally sound, more buildings should be built like this... if only for variety. It's somewhat reminiscent of Hartford's own "Stilts Building", but way cooler.

It will be replaced by some shiny skyscraper.

This reminds me of another demolition which wasn't as well planned.
