I've often wondered if
RainX really worked, and after a few heavy thunderstorms this summer decided to try it out. I picked up a $3 deodorant-stick style kit from Walmart, put it on, and waited for it to rain (of course, it didn't). Last week I got it's first test, and to my surprise, it works! Really well too - the rain just flies off the windshield, and I hardly need to use my wipers.
This morning driving on 691, a sudden squall hit with blinding rain and minor flooding. Everyone slowed to a crawl, moved to the right lane, and just followed the tailights in front of them. Except me. I could see just fine :)
